First and foremost, my name is Tommy Shipley and I am a senior majoring in Cybersecurity Mgt & Analytics. As for wine, my experience is very limited. Overall, I have probably drank wine at most 50 times in my life. Most of these wine drinking experiences take place at large family dinners (Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays, etc.), weddings, and whenever someone offers me a glass for any occasion. From the wine I have drank, I prefer red over white and prefer not to drink it out of a fake "plastic" glass or cup. I'm excited to learn more about wine by taking this course. I would love to learn more about the different types of grapes used, how agriculture can affect the growing process, and the different types of wine glasses!
